Getting Started
The information provided below is for On-Demand videos (Progressive Downloading).
Progressive Downloading begins playing the video as soon as the end-user recieves the file, simulating true streaming.
Because of the expenses and extensive setup in Streaming video, we do not offer this service.
How it Works:
We design a one-page Website that matches your existing Website. You simply add a link on your Website linking to your new video page. We also setup a domain name for easy linking and quick access. For example, LakesideVideos.com
Your given an administration login where you can edit your Web page content, upload/manage your videos and get instructions on initial set up.
Benefits:
Statistics reported by George Barna show that more and more people are beginning their search for God online. This is a great tool to introduce people to Christ, your Church and for internal uses.
The Benefits are being able to Reach Out in new ways. Educating the congregation to "virtually" invite family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. It is much easier to get a non-believer to go online than to go to Church.

Iternal Uses:
Keeps traveling or sick members connected to the ministry of the church.
Teachers or Volunteer workers can watch the sermons.
Weekly re-caps or Bible studies.
Equipment Needed:
There are two things needed, a digital video camera and a PC with internet access.
The Camera - If you need to purchase a camera, the most economical would be a Mini DV. Of course there are Mini DVD's and Hard Drive cameras depending on your budget. Some of the optional features you may want, but not mandatory, are Microphone Input, 30x - 40x optical zoom and FireWire.
The Computer - The computer is what actually records/encodes the video. Depending on your computer speed will determine on the quality of video you can produce.
Video Space:
This package allows for up to 50 videos at approximately 1-2 hours in length. As long as you are using Low Bandwidth or VHS quality videos. Anything above that like DVD quality, drastically increases file size and only holds a few hours of video. Low bandwidth or VHS quality is what's recomended for internet viewing. You will learn more about this during initial setup.
Licensing:
Remember to consider carefully the protection of Copyrighted material. If your church has a copyright license, you are safe to record and show the music. If you do not have such a license, you should only record unique content, for example the sermon.
